the seven tones used in the common western musical scale vibrate sympathetically with the seven major energy centers of the body - the seven chakras or sacred discs.

the key of a resonates with the brow center commonly known as the 3rd eye. this is highly beneficial for stimulating and balancing the pineal and pituitary glands, thus activating higher consciousness. the pineal gland is the master gland governing all the other endocrine glands and gives us the ability to feel joy and ecstasy.
